MEDIU listed in National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC)
Recently, Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) has received a recognition letter to be listed in National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC) database which is based in United Kingdom. The performance is seen to build and maintain relationships with other international learning institutions in general, and achieving its objective approach since the beginning of the University’s establishment in order to achieve global and international recognition.
The first practical periodic updates of the related matter will be at the beginning of July 2014, and they wished to extend their appreciation to MEDIU in its global interest and the commitment to the equality of academic certificates internationally. They also expressed their willingness to offer their research services in which to evaluate and compare the University’s certificates and its services (Benchmarking) as well as analysis of the level of the university qualifications based to (EQC Framework). In addition, they are willing to provide ‘Grade Comparisons’ to make the equation of the certificates are abide by the International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED); a statistical framework for organizing information on education maintained by the UNESCO.
The National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC),which is based in United Kingdom is the national agency responsible for providing information, advice and expert opinion on the qualifications worldwide. They are acting on behalf of the Government of the United Kingdom and offers a wide range of advisory services that compare international qualifications . They extend their services to colleges and universities that accept international students, employers who wants to identify the best applicants outside of UK, in addition to potential migrants who wish to apply through the Points Based System(PBS) in addition to that they need to migrated to UK for work or study purpose as well as possessed international qualifications.
It is noted as a new milestone for MEDIU since its inception seven years ago, allowing the University’s to contributes in strengthening the competitiveness of university qualifications in the education market for abroad students. MEDIU is listed as well in several institutions and international organizations, such as the European Foundation for Quality in eLearning(EFQUEL), International Association of Universities(IAU) and member of the Islamic Development Bank(IDB).
